Raising the profile of migration issues, through the promotion of our research and the projects we have funded will bring us closer to our aim of creating a voice for migrant communities.
A recent report entitled ‘UK Migration: the leadership role of housing providers’ highlights how and why local authorities, regional partnerships and local housing providers should take responsibility for creating a positive environment at a local level to address issues of migration which affect the whole community.
The report is the first of three publications of the Housing and Migration Network, an initiative of HACT, the Housing Action Charity, and funded and supported by the Migration Foundation of Metropolitan Housing Partnership and Joseph Rowntree Foundation.
